Lyséa’s Notebook
Privacy
Version of 2 September 2026. Data controller: VRIA CONSULTING — contact@lysea.io.
The photo of your palm
It is analysed in memory, then it disappears. It is never saved: not on a disk, not in file storage, not in a technical log. An automated test of our code checks this absence on every change. Only the text derived from the analysis is kept — the shape of your hand, the signals observed, the paths of the lines.
What we keep, and why
Your reading: the signals observed on your palm, your answers to the questionnaire (including your date, time and place of birth if you gave them) and the text of the revelations. That is the product itself.
Your email address — yours, never a third party’s. It is used to find your notebook again, to sign you in with a magic link, and to send you the reminder the day before the first charge if you take the Salon Pass. No newsletter, no marketing follow-up.
Your purchases and your subscription: the amount, the date, the payment identifier and the state of the subscription. Your card number never passes through us: it goes directly to Stripe, our payment provider.
Your voice, in the Salon: if you ask a question with the microphone, the recording (45 seconds at most) is transcribed into text by our provider, then disappears. It is never stored with us, and only the text, which you reread before sending, joins your conversation.
Your conversation in the Salon: your questions, Lyséa’s answers, and a short summary of what you have told her, rewritten after each exchange, so that the thread has a memory beyond the last few messages. That summary never names anyone but you. You can erase everything yourself, in one gesture, from the Salon — the erasure is immediate and complete, summary included. A deliberate exception: if a message mentions distress or a health question, the answer is a fixed referral to the right people and that exchange is not stored.
Audience measurement: we count steps (“a questionnaire started”, “a payment completed”) and page views in our own European databases. No cookie, no third-party service, no IP address kept — visit counting relies on an anonymised fingerprint that changes every day and cannot follow you from one day to the next. That is why there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
What we never do
No access to your address book. No data about anyone but you — no contacts table, anywhere. Sharing goes through your phone’s share sheet: you write, you send. No resale of data, no advertising, no advertising profiling.
Our providers
Supabase hosts the database in the European Union. Vercel serves the site from Paris. Stripe processes payments. OpenAI analyses the photo of your palm and generates Lyséa’s texts, including the Salon’s answers: your signals, your questionnaire answers and your messages pass through its API, covered by its compliance commitments for transfers outside the EU (Data Privacy Framework), and are not used to train its models.
Retention periods
Your reading and your notebook: as long as your account exists, or until you ask for erasure. Your conversation in the Salon: until you erase it. Accounting records of payments: ten years, as the law requires. Audience counters contain nothing personal and are kept as they are.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection: write to contact@lysea.io — reply within one month. Erasing your conversation needs no email: the button is in the Salon. Neither does cancelling the subscription: the button is on your account. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
Age, and artificial intelligence
The Notebook is an entertainment service, open from age 15. Any payment is reserved for adults — this is affirmed at the moment of payment, and timestamped. Lyséa is a character generated by an artificial intelligence: her texts are produced by a language model, checked by us, and have no predictive, medical, legal or financial value.
This page evolves with the product; the date at the top is the one that counts. Entertainment service.
